Things to know about buying a mobile home in Texas

There are laws in Texas that protect you as a consumer purchasing a mobile home. At Village Homes, we of course comply with all applicable state laws. This means that:

1. As required by state law, we are the retailer provide for the installation of your mobile home and ensure that the application for the issuance of a Statement of Ownership and Location (known as an SOL and similar to a title) is properly completed.
2. As the retailer of your new manufactured home, we are required to give you a written warranty. At Village Homes we make this as easy as possible for you. We have an in-house service department that can help you with any warranty issues that may arise.
3. With your new manufactured home purchase, we are responsible for ensuring that the land where your home will sit is properly prepared.
